  • How much will it cost to have my pet groomed?

    The cost for your pet’s grooming is based on the breed of the dog, what you want done, the condition of the coat, and the pet’s behavior. All pets are different. As hard as you try to describe your dog, his hair, his behavior and what you want done over the phone, without seeing your dog or meeting your dog, we cannot give you an exact price – only an approximation.

  • How often should I have my pet groomed?

    In order to maintain a proper and manageable coat, it is recommended that you have your dog groomed every 6 – 8 weeks. This is true for non-shedding breeds such as Poodles, Bichons, Shih Tzus, Lhasa Apsos, Terriers, etc. The coat on these breeds can easily become painfully matted if not properly maintained. Breeds that have short, shedding coats can usually wait 8 -12 weeks between grooming appointments, as long as they are brushed thoroughly at home.

  • Do I need to make an appointment?

    Yes, it is always best to make an appointment. Although we do try to accommodate walk-ins, it is not always possible to fit your pet in to the schedule for that day. We can accept walk-ins for nail trims.

  • What shots do you require my pet to have?

    We require that your pet be up-to-date on all his/her vaccinations. This is for the best interest of your pet as well as all of our other clients.

  • What is included in the cost for my pet’s grooming?

    Our standard grooming package includes a massaging bath; coat conditioning; nail trim; ear cleaning and a breed specific haircut.

  • Will I have to pay extra to have my pet’s nails cut?

    No, the cost of the nail trim is included in the grooming package.

  • Do you express the anal glands?

    Yes, we will express anal glands upon request. The anal glands are two sacs located at 5 and 7 o'clock in the anal area of dogs. Both male and female dogs possess these glands. Groomers will feel for the gland EXTERNALLY and gently squeeze to release its contents.

  • Do you do flea dips?

    Yes, we do have a flea dip. We follow a very strict protocol on flea prevention. Any pet which is infected with fleas will be given a flea dip and isolated. Pets from different families are always kept separately, and we regularly treat the entire premises for parasites. For added security, keep your pet on a flea preventative as well.

  • Do you have hypoallergenic shampoos?

    Yes, we have an assortment of shampoos to meet the specific needs of your pet.

  • Do you groom cats?

    Yes, cat grooming services are available at our Salon. Our cat groomers will personally meet with you to discuss your pet's specific needs and recommend just the right service. Due to the different needs of each cat, package prices are determined after your cat is assessed at the pet salon.

  • Are you experienced with difficult animals?

    Yes, we are experienced with all types of behaviors. We will do our best to handle your pet gently and expertly to complete the needed service.

  • Do you sedate or tranquilize my pet?

    We never sedate any pets. Only a licensed veterinarian can perform this service.

  • Are you familiar with the breed of my dog?

    Although we might not see each breed frequently, we do keep abreast of the grooming guidelines for each breed. We are happy to discuss the needs of your pet at the time of service.

  • Do you offer any discounts?

    We try to be competitive in our pricing. All of our first time customers will receive a $5 off discount. We also send a postcard which will provide $2 off on your next visit.

  • Do you have a referral program?

    We do offer a discount for each client you refer to our salon.
